In the streets of Jizo-dori lined with many restaurants, our ramen restaurant stands out with a striking black exterior with the words "Ramen Garaku" written in bold brush strokes.
In addition to serving classic "Hiroshima Ramen" with soy sauce tonkotsu (pork bone broth), "Hiroshima Tsukemen," and other noodle dishes that are a must-try when in Hiroshima, we make our signature original hot “Garaku Ramen” created with our secret spicy miso recipe that has many of our customers hooked.
The noodles we use are low-fat wheat noodles packed with nutrients made by Hiroshima’s famous “Haradaseimen”. These noodles bring out the flavors to the fullest of any broth making each bite irresistible.
We also serve a wide selection of side dishes such as rice balls and karaage (Japanese fried chicken), so whether you come by for a quick bite or a large filling meal, you will be satisfied.

Our eponymous ramen has many fans who regularly come to satisfy their cravings.
The bright red soup looks very spicy, but it is not only spicy for the sake of being spicy, the miso-based soup is full of umami and deep flavors that have many customers hooked. The spiciness level can be adjusted from 1 to 30, so please order according to your preference. (For spicy food lovers, we recommend level 10 or higher!)
We use Hiroshima classic thin ramen noodles and add in miso-marinated meat to be stirred with the soup. The added bean sprouts not only help relieve the spiciness, but they add a nice crunchy texture.
When you put a spoonful of the red soup in your mouth, the initial spice kicks in and spreads through the mouth which is then gradually followed by a satisfying richness.

If you are having trouble picking an order, we recommend first trying this ramen!
The rich pork bone "tonkotsu" broth soup is filled with thin noodles topped with bean sprouts, chashu pork, and plenty of green onions - a standard for classic Hiroshima ramen.
The tasty tonkotsu broth is extracted from pork bone with miso over the course of two days. The rich yet balanced flavor does not overwhelm the palate so enjoy this ramen to your heart’s content!

Spicy, broth-less mazesoba (mixed noodles) is one of our specialty dishes! You can enjoy the subtle sweetness as it blends with the nuttiness of sesame and peanuts.
